It gets easier to handle things as time goes on but there will always be things expected or out of the blue that can reach out and twist your heart. That's ok.
It's ok to be fine. It's ok to be a mess. You don't deal. You endure. And it's important to remember that no one else can tell you how to handle it. It's your personal journey. And whatever you feel or think you are, it's not crazy. All of us on this awful journey have felt and thought the same things at one point or another. Take a breath. And now take another. Some days that is victory enough.
